We welcome all ages, single, married, divorced, families with kids of all ages. We are an intergenerational group that ALWAYS includes the entire family in all events (at the family's discretion) no matter their age.

The Band is an awesome small group to be in. We lead the worship during each of the two Sunday gatherings, and just enjoy praising the Lord through music and offering back our talents. If you'd like to be part of us, email Scott and see about trying out.

This group has a diverse membership.  We have married, single, divorced, and widowed members between the ages of 40-60.  There elementary and middle school age students.  We have a simple meal each week that is prepared by each member bringing a dish from a menu we decide upon weekly.  Our Thursday meetings begin at 6:00 pm and we try to finish by 8:00.  In the past we have studied:  Beth Moore's Daniel, messages from Joel Osteen, and The Way of the Master Basic Training Course.  Some ministry activities the group has done in the past include:  making cookies for soldiers, shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse, baked and distributed cookies in the neighborhood of our meeting, prepared box of food for family involved with accident, and prepared for Thrift Shop yard sale.  Most of our special events include food, eating out and cooking out.

Want to be a part of a loving, funny and informal group?  Then join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the Family Room at EHC.  Bring your coffee and donut(s).  Be prepared to learn something about your walk with God.  We also meet to eat, play games, sing, watch ball games and even take trips together.  We would love to have you as part of our FAMILY!!

There’s something special about a small group that grows from 6 to over 30 in less than a year’s time. There’s something really special about a small group that has ten conversions and thirteen baptisms in less than a year. There’s something extra special about a small group that gathers around each other at the altar with support, prayers and hugs. There’s something utterly awesome about a small group that continues to attract hurting people and unbelievers to Christ.
Our small group meets bi-weekly on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm, but you’ll also find parts of us together all through the week. You might see them helping someone move furniture, babysitting kids, going with each other to the doctor, cooking a meal together, repairing a car, eating out together, or just hanging out on the back porch. We keep their cell phones handy and their texting fingers in shape and take a friendly jab at each other on facebook. If you want to be part of a wacky, dysfunctional family that works because of their common love for Jesus and goal to see souls saved, the Simmons group is the small group for you.

Our group focuses on fellowship, fun, family, discipleship, scripture, and most importantly Jesus Christ.  We blend seasons of having fun, bible study, and mission throughout the year.  Most group members are in their 30’s with young children; however that is not the parameter that defines our group.  The men and women in our group share many interests: outdoor activities, fitness and running, guns, fast cars, and sports to name a few.  The families are passionate about growing in their relationship with Christ, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to our families and those to whom we minister.  Our group often spends time together outside of regular group times and is actively involved in each other’s lives.

This small group started out simply as a way to help myself and other people my age get more serious about our walks with God.  It has become a group of fellow-believers that I don’t feel like I could get through life without.  I now consider these people to be my best friends.  We have so much fun, but we also get deep into the word of God and encourage each other in Christ.  We learn together, pray together, laugh together, and cry together.  When one of us hurts, we all hurt and when one of us rejoices, we all rejoice.  With such a diverse group of people, it may seem strange that we could all get along, but we have one thing in common – a passion for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – that brings us all together.

Our group has been meeting since 1996! We meet each Sunday at 5:30 at the church in room 119. We do lots of community service events and call them "servefests!" We really enjoy going out to eat, sharing cokes on the fountain square with others, and generally helping others (we even fixed a roof once). Plus, we do a variety of bible studies! So come join us!
